But why are they like this? Why are there ‘crossed out’ bits?

Maybe deleted threads? There are plenty of those these days!

Ah, that makes sense. My first (cynical) thought was that it could be an attempt to entice people to come see what they're missing. Like a sneak preview, but you have to visit the site to see the rest of it. 😆

I thought that! I assume it’s a branding style but it just looks like they’ve made mistakes and had to cross things out! Lol.
