Does this look like normal poop for a 2month old?

Hi everyone

Sorry for the gross photo however, my baby is two months old now and she is formula fed and I want some opinions!

I keep getting in my head about her poops, as of recently they've been pretty dramatic, resulting in a blow out and outfit change every single time and they're quite liquidy. (She will only go once a day though so I've ruled out diarrhoea).

To me, it looks shiny, which I've read indicates mucus? I'm worried she may have CMPA. Has anyone else experienced this? Or does it look normal?

Thanks

I can't remember dates or time. I remember seeing similar when they were tiny.

So I’m pretty sure mine had poo that looked just like this a couple of times, we took him to A&E after calling 111 for advice and baby was fine, it was just the fat content of the milk/reaction to vaccines. If you’re worried give them a ring and they’ll assess the symptoms to see if it might need checking out, or call your GP for advice?

Also I wouldn’t worry about the blowouts, I believe it’s normal at 2 months. Ours used to have several changes of clothes a day at one point!

Has he/she just had their rotavirus vaccine by any chance?
This looks like my breastfed babys poo (who at 4 months still regularly poos up her back. 3rd kid and they've all done it)

Yes! She had her vaccines on Tuesday. She has no "symptoms" so to speak, but was just concerned with the consistency and shinyness. Thank you 😊
