I know 2 couples who have discussed or explored open relationships, and it was fairly obvious that one of each couple was/is far more keen on the idea than the other.

Ironically with one couple, when he discovered that there actually wasn’t a queue of women desperate to sit on his cock but ‘she’ was getting loads of attention and offers, he suddenly went right off the idea.
