To buy a mattress off Amazon?

Daughter needs a new mattress, was going to go IKEA but Amazon would be so much better in terms of delivery and cost. Has anyone tried?

They are not brands I’ve heard of but the reviews seem good - e.g. amzn.eu/d/hpdzMJX

I've bought all my mattresses off there, due to divorce and limited funds and they have been absolutely fine.

We bought one, it arrived in a box and we unfurled it, a king size, we love it. Just a cheapy with a memory foam topping but it's fine.

ETA Very much like the one you've posted, in fact. Sprung, with memory foam topping.

You're literally going to spend a third of your life on that matress, personally, I wouldn't buy one without physically lying on it first.

Got one recently for the guest bedroom and the first (and only) guest we've had since said it was the comfiest mattress they'd ever slept on! It was less than £100, so a bargain for a good nights sleep!

The delivery is intriguing - does the driver chuck it over the garden wall?

It's rolled up in a box, in plastic. You take it out, cut the plastic, and it springs open. You then leave it lying there for a while before you use it.

Is the bed base from IKEA, while you may find the odd UK sizing their mattresses are typically designed for their own bed bases.

Yes, mine was packaged the same and unrolled perfectly.

I wouldn't for my bed but have had the roll up ones for our spare beds (I give my bed up for our guests ie family members as they are pregnant/need space for travel cot/light sleepers etc) and have found the "Amazon" type fine. Whether they would be okay for everyday use I don't know

All our mattresses are from amazon and are so comfortable!
