Living room -please advise on curtains!

The first picture is the idea I’m going for but I’m wondering if partnered curtains will work ok! The living room is a dark green/blue colour similar to picture.

I love the room a lot, but the curtains are a bit busy, sorry.

I do like those curtains. They are bold enough to work in that room. When I bought my living room curtains I was told they were too busy and that I would get fed up with them. I never have ! They still bring me joy 20 years later.

I think it also depends what exactly you put in that room.

Busy curtains can work, but busy everything, colour of the furniture, flooring?

They are busy but not too much, I think it works against that wall if they’re to be featured - I really like it.

So it’s a large room with a big sliding door and 4 windows so the pattern will be everywhere!

The floor is a dark oak colour.
There is a large dark blue/navy velvet corner couch.

Fireplace has patterned tiles. This is the only other pattern that would be competing.

Once I have them that’s it I’m not one for chopping and changing decor!

Id quite like curtains the colour of the couch in the photo but can’t find any! Not sure if it’s a teal?!

I think the patterned curtains would look better than the colour of the couch! I think it'll look lovely x
