"Manifestation" is the new buzz word

I've always used it, because I'm french speaking, but not in the way it's now being used, as if it's a business tactic.
I've NEVER seen it used on threads before this last month, but now it's everywhere.
Or was I blind before?

Mumsnet is the place where I became aware of the concept of manifestation as a belief system and way to live your life, if that's what you mean, and that was a few years ago. I've never come across a thread devoted to it though but that might be because I never look further than AIBU. I have never seen it being talked about as a business tactic though. I don't know how that would work.

In what ways do they use this in business models? As I'm aware business models simply follow trends and listen to the market. Did you mean they are using the term to relate to netizens who have been using it popularly, as in for optimistic/confidence?

It is aload of bs, so many gurus selling courses of manifesting for money- think positive thoughts and good things happen. Crap things happen regardless of Mindset. Don't get sucked in. You end up scared of thinking as you may think of a bad thought and it would happen. Rubbish
Manifestation is another word for wishing.

It's not new, been around for quite a while.

I always find it interesting how the people advocating manifestation always seem to have loads of money with which to manifest their manifestations.
