How Does The British Army Keep Getting Away With This?

AIBU to think there’s something rotten at the core in the way the British army treats recruits? Yet another soldier savagely bullied and humiliated, found dead in suspicious circumstances.

This poor man was dead in his bed in the barracks for three weeks and nobody noticed he was missing. Three fucking weeks decomposing in his bed in a barracks and nobody notices?

What the hell is wrong with the British Army?

How many more questionable young deaths are going to keep happening in army barracks? Would you feel safe if your child wanted to join?

Jeez that’s horrific. That poor man. Heads should roll for sure.

Yanbu. Its such a horrifying and distressing story

Three weeks. Seems impossible. Surely there is some sort of daily roll-call. How can no-one have noticed he was not there?

The army attracts some power-crazed freaks whose traits are magnified and nurtured.

We pay for this from our taxes.

And wouldn't his corpse start to smell? Didn't he share a room with other recruits? Surely they would've noticed when he wasn't getting up in the mornings? His family too. Wouldn't they wonder why he hadn't been in touch?

Poor, poor man. He looks so lovely and gentle in the photographs. I hope the bullying bastards all get sacked and then sued by the man's family.

Another article says he didn't commit suicide and that the substances found in his body weren't enough to kill him.
