Why does he love to give us all this worry. Life’s hard enough as it is, all this talk of war. I really worry, anyone else?

To justify the defence spending.

anyone else?

Nope, because worrying doesn't make the blindest bit of difference to anything.

Agreed. It's not something individuals can control so I don't think there's any point in worrying about it.

Are you blaming Starmer for the current geopolitical instability?

Regardless of who was in power right now, they would need to increase our defence spending significantly. We have under invested for far too long.

The state of the world is concerning right now, but there is no point in worrying about it. Worrying changes nothing.

He’s just telling you that the world is a very different place than it was 5 years ago, and we currently have an armed forces that has been decimated by the Tories over the past 14yrs. We can’t sit back and allow them to have inadequate equipment, too few resources and too little manpower, so he’s actually going to invest in them.

DS1 is a soldier, I’m not concerned about an imminent war at all.
