Sorry after some quick advice as a newbie.

Sold something for £1. Its turned up completely broken.

Buyer has clicked ‘not as significantly described’

Dont care about the £1 so happy to refund. But will this affect the algorithm? My sales?

If so what am I supposed to do. Opening this as a dispute over £1 is ridiculous. Wish they had clicked the other button!

Was it broken when you sold it. I'm not in vinted but surely it's not worth selling something which has a value less than a £1 in stress and time to send it....

Just refund it. That way they will get the fees and postage back too. This makes you a decent seller. What to you is only £1 will be nearer to £4 to the buyer.

If you refund it shouldn't affect anything in the future, I had to refund an item which had a small mark on it I hadn't noticed. No issues with anything I've listed since.

I've never had to refund but afaik if you refund they can't leave feedback so it won't affect you in any way, apart from the £1.

Actually someone gave me a 1 star review because apparently the item stank and was dirty (it was BNWT) and I still show as 100% 5star reviews 🤷🏻‍♀️

Buyer was obviously an oddball because she did the same for a few items 😮‍💨

Doesn’t affect anything if you agree the refund. I just received a bundle of 6 knackered and dirty items (supposedly new without tags). As the seller refunded one of the torn dresses I cannot leave feedback for her (or get refunds for any of the other crap she sold me) so she won’t be affected in any way.
It’s as if the transaction never happened at all so you'll be fine once the refund goes through.
