Day 5 and sticking with it

I’ve been on a strict diet/exercise program and had great support from Mumsnetters. ❤️

Im now on Day 5, still sticking with it but finding it difficult. I was also in a bad lifestyle cycle of overeating every day and procrastination.

Ive already lost 8 pounds, but I’m not in a great place today mood wise. However instead of giving in, I’ve written down what’s bothering me and worrying me about the future - it helps to get it to down on paper.

I remind myself I’m doing this for the person I love and am so glad I’ve stuck with it ❤️🙌

@Cordroy I really hope the "person you love" is YOURSELF. I am also on a weight loss journey and you must do it for yourself, your health both physical and mental. It would be awesome if a partner or child benefits also from you being more physically active with them, but ultimately you must put yourself first in some situations. This is one of them.

If I’m being honest - I didn’t weigh at the same time both times - so probably less realistically than 8lbs. I certainly haven’t lost. 8 lbs of fat!!

Still seeing the 8lb loss was a boost

It’s the Fast 800 - so strict, yes.

Ah! That’s tough on you physically and mentally. Are you getting enough protein, salt and calcium?

in terms of those 3 things - realistically probably not!

You need to make sure you are to keep you healthy. Even if you need to go up calories to make sure you get them. There are some theories that fast 800 isn’t a great choice for women but no special research into women.

And you need to drink 3 litres of water a day.
