Mould in short term rental property

We are currently staying in an Airbnb for a month while urgent remedial building works are done on our house. The insurance has put us up and the flat is nice-close to the children’s school etc, but we have just found quite a lot of mould on the walls in the children’s bedroom ( lifting up the wallpaper). It wasn’t obvious to see at first as the bed was pushed against the wall. Our daughter is asthmatic and was coughing a lot. You can also smell it when you come close.
We have been here for a week now. What are our rights if we want to leave?
Do we ask the insurance to move us or go to the Airbnb host directly?
Thank you in advance.

Is there any reason you wouldn't tell both the insurance company and the Air Bnb owner?

I guess we should just tell both. Thanks.

Definitely both, it is absolutely unacceptable with or without asthma, a single mould spore in your lung can be detrimental to your health. I hope your building works happen swiftly and you all get settled back home soon 🌺
