To spend £££ on soundproofing

I live in a semi detached paper thin walls and cant afford a detached. Moving pointless as it will be to another semi detached where I can hear the neighbours.

Has anyone installed soundproofing where it has worked really well?

Acoustic soundboard has really muffled the sound for us? What is the actual noise?

Depends on what the sound is? I paid ££££s and it worked for me wall to wall but doesn’t stop sound up/down the wall

if it's attached stairs with wooden threads then nothing will help.
same if old house with beams through both places without barrier.

if just the wall you can get quite effective board. the thicker the better really.
