To ask an interview related question…

Applied for a full time role that said in the advert that part time applications were welcomed. I only applied to it because of this tbh.

I currently work 3 days a week and have a toddler, no wish to work full time again at this point.

I have an interview for the role tomorrow, I would really like the role and if full time is the only option I’d have to have a hard think, but how do I broach the subject of actually, ideally only wanting to do my usual 3 days a week? I didn’t put on my application form that I wanted part time (which I realise now is an error) so they’re probably thinking they’re interviewing a potential full time candidate!

When they get to the bit about asking if you have any questions, just explain what you've said here. You currently work three days and would be interested in the role on that basis...it may well be that they'll be happy for a job share hence opening it to part time applicants. If you've time, research the childcare options prior so that if they do want full time you've got info to go forward with.
