My mental health has not been good today. Stayed in bed until midday.

I’ve been on a cycle for past 6 weeks of binge eating calorific foods. I started a new diet today. I weighed myself I’m just under 14 stone and 5ft1.

Anyway I want to lose weight and improve my life for the sake of someone I love.

I just came on to say I feel better for having written it all down. I move managed to stick to my diet extricate by doing this.

So in short I can definitely recommend writing things down if you feel down. It makes you more likely to stick to your goals.

I write first thing in the morning before I get out of bed, it definitely helps me. Have had some difficult things to deal with recently and writing it down helps me process it.

Glad it helps you too!

Absolutely write things down. Not only if you are having poor mental health issues.

If you are going to call the GP or visit - write down what you want to ask. Write down what the Dr says at the time if it helps. The Dr will not mind and can help with spelling.

If you have had a bad day, write it down at night. You will probably sleep better.

If you gave been "wronged" or have an issue or with someone, even if not adverse, write them a letter. You don't post it, but you can say what you wanted to after the event. It needs not be bad it could be a farewell to a loved one, no longer alive.
