Is this normal for pregnancy tests?

Just a little confused as when I had my first DD, I used first response. Never used clearblue aside from one digital.

and maybe I'm a little on edge because of a chemical last month.

Took a clearblue yesterday, came up right away but then after a few hours faded down to almost nothing . Will attach photos below, and have just taken another to see if I could see any line progression.

my period was due yesterday, so I’m not early testing.

Ignore the fading they very clearly tell you the time scale for when to look. After that bin and ignore- congrats on your pregnancy!

So that’s a positive.

Have to say that I had a positive test for up to 5 weeks after a complete miscarriage though because the pregnancy hormones hang around for a long time apparently.

No idea about “line progression “ as I thought that these tests are very basic and only show if pregnancy hormones are present and not how much.

Thank you, I did take this into consideration but I had 4 negative tests with the chemical last month. Two done at a hospital aswell as a pelvic scan.

so I’m hoping it’s safe to say this is a new pregnancy, thank you though 🤍
