To be concerned about this- nursery

An ofsted report has been put on and parents notified as there was a complaint.
It says the provider notified us about a child following a staff member out of the door and reaching the pavement'
I feel concerned about this.. would you pull your child out of a nursery for this reason? What would have happened if they hadn't noticed?!

It's not ideal, but if they've self-reported to Ofsted that's a good sign.

What is it like otherwise?

If it's fantastic and you love it I would wait for the outcome of the Ofsted visit and see. If you've had other concerns it's probably time to look for something else.

What you should bear in mind is that this kind of thing is possible in any nursery setting. Any nursery (or other childcare setting) is susceptible to human error/freak accident.
