I’ve had a look at my container of imported UK banana Nesquik. I hadn’t bothered to read the directions because it’s Nesquik, right? I’ve been drinking it for over 40 years. I figured it was probably almost identical to Australian Nesquik. Glass of milk, add two heaped teaspoons and stir.
Apparently not! The directions are two level (why??) teaspoons of Nesquik and make a paste with some of the milk, then add the rest of the milk.
What bullshit is this?? Why the need to make a paste? Why not just stir it into the milk? Why level instead of heaped teaspoons?
Does anyone actually make a paste when making it?
YABU - Make a paste, it’s the only way.
YANBU - No paste, just stir it up.
I mean, I have other questions like what’s with the weird oval plastic container instead of a good old trusty tin, and why are vitamins added to what is essentially flavoured sugar?
Thankfully Australia has finally re-released banana Nesquik so I can drink that instead of the inferior UK version that’s gross. There’s another question - why TF is there rice flour in it?
