Anyone know how to get Google Maps to recognise a new post code?

Dh moved business info a new unit on a new estate. The post code has been registered with Royal Mail and the estate comes up on Google Maps with postcode listed on address - BUT postcode doesn’t come up if you search for it.

he needs to sort this ASAP - anyone have any ideas how to resolve this or any companies who work with Google to sort this type of issue.

If you google "Add my business to google maps" it comes up with a page where you can do it.

On the google maps app, you can add/update an address via the contribute button (bottom right). I did it for my new build and took google about 3 days to add the postcode.
