Last of Us is good.

Brefugee · 19/05/2025 18:41

Years And Years on Netflix. Future dystopian UK. (it's from 2019)

minipie · 19/05/2025 18:41

For historical try Vikings or Vikings of Valhalla.

Manifest is ridiculous but watchable

Watching as I like both these genres too

missmollygreen · 19/05/2025 18:42

Fallout

SleepingStandingUp · 19/05/2025 18:44

What about the rig. Series 2 is now on.

Travellers on netflix.
3 body problem.
Sweet tooth is amazing

If you don’t mind subtitles, The Eternaut on Netflix is superb. Best thing I’ve watched in ages (and I like The Last of Us etc).

Good IMDb and rotten tomato scores too.

DorisTheFinkasaurus · 19/05/2025 18:45

Don’t know if it’s still on Netflix but the German series Dark.

CombatBarbie · 19/05/2025 18:46

Vikings is good, vikings of valhalla and the last kingdom were awesome.

Erm Handsmaid Tale, dystopian and weirdly terrifying that it's set in today's age.

Not a series but Threads is still on iplayer. About as terrifying as an apocalypse can get!

AirborneElephant · 19/05/2025 19:08

The man in the high castle. Although it may be Amazon, not sure.

Tallyrand · 19/05/2025 19:12

Black Summer is the most incredible zombie apocalypse show I have ever seen.

I have just binged my way through this and it was amazing.

Futuristic dystopian film from 2022 Vesper. Loved it

WarriorN · 19/05/2025 19:21

It’s stark and hard but also beautiful too

londongirl12 · 19/05/2025 21:36

Alice in borderland is good. New season out this year.

Just watched the trailer, looks horrifying! But then I’m terrified of zombies 🤣

Anedina · 19/05/2025 21:49

Under the Dome on 5

Cleebope2 · 19/05/2025 21:57

Another vote for El eternauta from Argentina. Really tense, believable characters, based on a comic book from the 70s but updated. Soo good.

I was watching the last episode this morning and it started buffering 9 mins from the end! So frustrating. Desperate to watch those last 9 mins but just not happening.

It is gripping. Very reminiscent of John Wyndham. Classic stuff.
