looking for some reassurance I guess…had my second baby early Feb and when I was around 17 weeks pregnant a trace of blood was found in my urine…this was on and off for the rest of my pregnancy and went from a trace to ++ in urine. I was under a consultant who wanted my urine checked at my 6/8 weeks post natal checkup to make sure it had cleared and it hadn’t! My urine was sent off multiple times and each time came back with no infection…I also have no symptoms. I am now nearly 4 months post partum and the blood is still showing in every sample. I have had kidney and bladder USS and a flexible cystoscopy all of which are clear, bloods are also normal. I have health anxiety so this is really playing on my mind. My doctor has written to renal for further advice as there is no pathway for microscopic heamaturia when all tests are normal. My sister in law is a nurse and gave me some urine dipsticks so have become obsessed with checking my urine and now I’m unsure if the colours are changing for the leukocytes also but gp doesn’t seem to think so and have said that leukocytes in urine are often unimportant. I’m going mad…sorry for the long post but has anyone experienced this…
