Beautiful couples past and present

My Instagram just threw up a photo of Kate Moss and Johnny Depp from the 90s and it reminded just amazing they looked together (I think it reality it was a very different story). I then went down a bit of a rabbit hole and remembered Linda Evangelista and Kyle McLachlan and they were equally as gorgeous.

Anyone else?

Obvs this is lighthearted and just something to while away the last few hours of Friday afternoon.

I always thought Brad and Jennifer looked a bit related.

disagree strongly here, both incredibly beautiful in their day, in fact AH still is… although beauty being totally subjective (as this thread demonstrates) that’s IMHO.

I think Rose Leslie is beautiful too. They are a very good looking couple but don’t quite have the charisma of some of those mentioned here.

Oh yes I'm almost old enough to be his mum, he just seems a really lovely man.

It's subjective. Beauty's in the eye of the beholder and for me a 'beautiful couple' isn't just about physical beauty anyway.

Also, possibly a bit left field, but Christopher and Gitte Lee. He basically fell for her the moment they met. They were together from 1960 until he died in 2015 and they absolutely adored each other. They made a very striking couple right up until the end.

But he always looked the best with Elizabeth Taylor in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof 😍

I know they weren't a real couple, but I don't think there has ever been a more beautiful on-screen couple than young Paul Newman and Liz Taylor. It's like the most heavenly beautiful people that ever lived got together.

I immediately thought of JFKjr and CBK. I think that, pre-internet, you had to be in the US to feel the impact of their loss, in a celebrity sense. When I mention to UK friends, maybe only half of them know who they were.

Also, I also feel a slight irritation with the constant gushing about Pierce Brosnan and Keely. She's evidently gorgeous, but it's always like he's elevated to hero status for finding his wife attractive even though she's heavier than some other women.

Oh gosh you're right. They looked pretty close in age at the time. She still looks very young for her age. Him not so much!
