Being terrified of something that has not happened and is very unlikely to happen isn’t a smart way to live. Before anyone starts bleating about heads in sand maybe consider how much you’re achieving whilst you’re being terrified.

Honestly, delete it. I deleted it in covid. I’m still functioning perfectly fine and haven’t missed anything important. Anything of interest you’ll hear about by word of mouth and you can decide if it directly affects you, and if you want to find out anymore about it.

OP, a couple of tips:

1. Stop watching TV news - it's all very dumbed down and sensationalist, anyway.
2. Stop worrying about things over which you have no control. It's completely and utterly pointless so, if you stop doing it, you'll immediately feel much better.

It's one thing to be informed but if you're watching news constantly it's easy to get dragged down by it and if it's frying your brain take a break from it.
