If you were employee of the month and were meant to get a gift voucher but never did, would you ask after that? That’s the reward for employee of the month but I never received one.

also, if you were meant to be paid for an hour and a half extra for staff training, but wasn’t, would you ask about that too? I feel rude asking idk why.

Absolutely ask. You can be polite about it - "Hi, I am following up on a couple of outstanding things, etc". Don't apologise for chasing them though.

Yes I would. This happened at my work but it was someone else who didn’t receive it, I continued to chase until she did. I would also ask for the training money. If something is agreed it should be given. It’s not rude to chase when it’s not been forthcoming.

I’d check my junk mail and double check my facts so I don’t look daft before sending polite reminder

and I’d prompt others to do the same its bad management to promise things that don’t materialise and looks like they don’t really value your excellence or your time

I do some of our payroll and occasionally things get to me to late to be processed for that month. I never mind people asking if they haven't received something they expected or checking if I have got their timesheet etc.

Apparently the others that got them in previous months, received a physical voucher in their tray in the staff room and I definitely haven’t had anything. Thanks, I will ask!
