Who was at fault ?

I started to cross the road at a junction, all of a sudden a car came round and I then stepped back onto the path as he wasn’t going to stop.. him and his passenger then stared me out through their windows and said something. The car then blocked the junction so I had to go behind him to cross. Not sure if intentional or not but the car rolled back and hit my arm. Who was at fault as they made out it was me but I was already in the road to cross

Pedestrians have the right of way, and the fact they rolled back and hit you...I'd call the police!

They were TOTALLY at fault. Sounds like almost a deliberate assault by car!

Pedestrians have right of way.

They were at fault when they didn't stop to let you cross, they were at fault when they glared, they were at fault when they rolled back into you, they were at fault if they said anything to you but profuse apologies

I hope you called the police!

Not your fault but I think it’s a bad idea to cross behind a vehicle on an incline as they can unintentionally roll back, I especially tell my kids never to do that.

My father saw three men killed by a lorry that rolled back on a hill start.

OK a long long time ago but there is a real danger of getting to close to the back of a vehicle

Always the driver.
