Hi neighbours,
If you’re familiar with the journey of fleeing domestic abuse, you’ll know it can feel like walking on spikes. My children and I have made it through and, thankfully, we are now safe.
We’ve been offered a new council house and have less than a week to move out of temporary accommodation. It’s a big step forward, but the house needs some basic painting/decorating and small D.I.Y jobs before we can properly settle in.
If anyone knows of kind, trustworthy volunteers in the Cambridge area who might be able to help, I’d really appreciate it.
