To call 111 for a breast lump

Last night I found a large, firm and well attached lump in my breast. I am terrified and gp not open until Tuesday. Is there is any chance of getting seen as an emergency if I call 111?

I think they'll just tell you to see your GP on Tuesday. Try not to panic - most lumps are benign. You will be seen quickly if the GP is worried about it.

I think it would be reasonable to go to a walk in centre if you think it will help you.
Im not surw if they are able to do what your GP can do on Tuesday, such as onwards referrals for further assessment/investigations.

Thank you for the replies. @Foodylicious I hadn’t thought about the fact they couldn’t sort the referrals etc out so wouldn’t speed anything up. I guess I will just wait until Tuesday.

I recently had a lump and the nurse at the breast clinic told me that in 9 out of 10 patients they see, everything is fine. Hope you can get reassurance soon.
