I’m on 20mg of escitalopram and have been since October time. It really helps my anxiety and ocd but I literally have no sex drive AT ALL. I could quite easily never have sex again. This is not ideal when you’re married.
A couple of days ago I thought I would snap the tablet in half, been doing that since. I’ve got the worst headache ever today, my anxiety is starting to creep up and last night I was getting those thunder claps/shakes in my brain.
An I doing it wrong? Is there a different way?

Talk to your doctor, ffs.

Any change will take around 2 weeks to settle - so you might just be suffering the affects of dropping your dose.

Oh thank you. I was thinking of taking the other half just to make them stop but then I don’t really want to be on such a high dose anymore if this is how it’s going to be

I had some really terrible symptoms for the first two weeks. My friend who has come off AD’s warned me that the same happens in reverse when you withdraw.
