I have read lions mane can help with focus and concentration. I have very little capacity to focus on anything! I am late 40’s so definitely peri-menopausal…im
experiencing a lot of brain fog and rather struggling. I tried HRT and it really didn’t work for me so I gave up after 4 months. I have read that lions mane can help. Any experiences you could share wouid be helpful!
thank you ☺️

I've been taking it for the last 5 weeks or so. I don't think I've seen much difference, maybe a little, but nothing dramatic.

I thought you were after recipes (as I eye up the expensive and frankly pointless grow your own mushroon kit)
I have no idea about Lions mane but I hear good things about Magnesium in menopause

Yes I am taking magnesium supplements and I do think they have helped with fatigue a lot.

I heard about it for the first time on BBC1, on that Dr Zand programme investigating medical claims. I think it was this morning. Wasn't listening properly so don't know how thoroughly they went into it. I think magnesium was mentioned too.

I have found magnesium to be very helpful with sleep problems.

Creatine can improve cognition according to research and I’ve heard a lot of women in peri/ menopause who swear by it.
It’s also cheap and very well researched so I would definitely start taking it if you aren’t already!

I didn’t like it and found I wasn’t taking it so ended up throwing it away. Friend tried it and got a migraine!

I used the Isle of Wight dropper in 35% alcohol. Did nothing.
Filled the dropper bottle up with Benedictine and that is far more effective for an instant fillip in mood!

My DS grew some from a kit, it was really tough and tasted horrible. Much preferred the pink oyster mushrooms he grew previously.

I had a traumatic brain injury almost two years ago in the early days i was taking Lions mane supplements and i found they really helped me massively. I keep meaning to buy some more but cossy lives and all that 😳🙄
