Child vomiting 3 days after sickness bug?

My little girl had a sickness bug which lasted only for 12 hours and she recovered really quickly. She’s been eating and drinking well, playing as normal.

Fast forward 3 days and she’s woken up in the night vomiting and this morning she’s extremely lethargic and sleepy. Why has this happened again!?

Has she lost weight recently? Get her checked for diabetes.

My younger daughter has had the same bug, so I doubt it.

Mine had a horrendous bug before the Easter hols, lasted pretty much 5 days. We kept thinking it had passed and then she would be sick again. I've heard of a few others having the same so think there is a bad stomach bug going around.

A colleague’s family had norovirus for a week. They all experienced very fluctuating symptoms of feeling better then going downhill again.

As a mum of a child with diabetes? Where the fuck did that leap come from?

My youngest had a vomiting bug recently, was fine for two days, then started vomiting again. It happens!
