Believing that the universe or karma controls our lives gives power to imaginary forces. There’s absolutely no evidence that good or bad actions are rewarded or punished by fate. Life is often unfair, and outcomes in our lives are shaped by our choices, luck, and circumstances, not cosmic justice. Relying on karma or signs can distract us from taking real responsibility and action.

If you have little control of your life then Karma is helpful ( … as indeed is a belief in a God that will reward you in the next life, or that you will be reincarnated in better circumstances)
