Butlins do a midweek just for under 5s. All the entertainment is based on that age group. Think pepper pig/ Justin fletcher...Skegness now have new lodges.

We did CP a lot when ours were little & it's especially good if you can go in school term time to avoid crowds & the insane price hike but 2yrs is quite young - I'm not sure what they'd get out of it other than the swimming & countryside walks & playparks etc - the majority of the activities are for older children. It makes it quite an expensive break, especially as the food on site is pretty costly. I'd definitely take a 2yr old if you have other, older children but if they're your only child on the holiday, I'd probably wait another year or 2 to get your money's worth.

For those asking which CP we went to, it was Longleat. It was filthy, damp and miserable.

Yes, January is really good. Prices are cheaper and they have winter forest lights which are a great experience for that age. The pool and playgrounds are really good, there is soft play, nice walks and wildlife. You wouldn't need to pay out for any activities at that age, plenty to keep them occupied. There is a Tesco and Asda a short driving distance for shopping. The onsite shop quite expensive.
