I,ve been reading a lot on here about annoying neighbours and thought I would would ask AIBU.!
Background , cul-de-sac detached houses. I,m the only one with a shared double driveway with next door.
House next to me has been rented out for the last 14 years to people who have done 2 individual drug farms, family from hell (20) adults and kids, illegal HMO and now a very large family of about 6 kids and 7 adults.
Every single authority had been contacted regarding the illegal letting . Landlord now warned but he is still able to let the house out so far.
latest large family don’t know their boundaries and that’s what’s annoying me .
We already fell out when they moved in as they used noisy machinery to give them electricity in the house as it was cut due to the previous drug farms.
Authorities informed and the family were told to move until electric was restored.
Everything was ok until all the kids come out to play and cause extreme noise. They play on my fence and just about miss damaging my car or ruining my fence. They screech noisy scooters up and down our private road and scream.
I have already asked them loads to stop leaning all their scooters on my fence at Risk of damaging my car and be mindful of noise as I work from home .
My brain is totally fried by this house it’s caused me so much stress .
Every tennant has caused me so much trouble .

Sounds horrendous… all you can do is keep contacting the council, maybe try and get other neighbours onside so they can keep on too.. they will also ask you to keep a diary of events, i would be trying to move but obviously that is not easy, quick or viable in most situations,

Is landlord licensing required in your area?

That might make the landlord take some action
