Left a toxic job

I left a toxic job recently and couldn’t wait to leave. I didn’t say goodbye to a few people mainly because they were busy and I wasn’t overly friendly with them anyway so I didn’t think they would care. I didn’t say goodbye to a client mainly because they would have kept me there for ages talking and I just wanted to go. He previously had made a few comments saying that I was quiet and distant. I was just too busy and don’t have time for long chats nor do I have the energy. so I just upped and left and not even sure he knew I was leaving the job. Sometimes clients got too demanding and attached and some staff were so toxic. I just got fed up with it. Once I got offered a new job I just left and blocked the colleagues on social media minus two who I kept in touch with. Am I being unreasonable for not saying goodbye to some people?

Well done on leaving a toxic job! Don’t think you’re unreasonable at all.

Not unreasonable, I walked out of a job once, I didn't tell a soul just went home.

But I suppose you should be aware of the value of maintaining a network and a professional reputation, especially if you are in an industry where clients will be using multiple suppliers that you could work for
