Do I need to add another activity to this hen night?

So I am helping book a friend’s hen. We have decided to do the Mamma Mia: The Party experience at the O2.

It finishes at 10pm. Do you think it would be best to go for drinks after or will people just want to be going home?

Bride said she wants a night which isn’t too much of a financial or time burden for her friends.

We are late 20s. 10 pm is a bit too early for a hen to end, right?

I’d say that was a bit early yes. Cocktails after? Good on her for not doing anything too costly though!

Absolutely do night club and cocktails after!

10pm is too early to finish!

I’d have a place in mind for drinks after but make it very much “for those that wish to come” rather than a formal must attend part of the night. The group can make a decision after the show finishes. If it was me I’d want a few drinks out after but some might prefer to head home.

ThinWomansBrain · 11/04/2025 13:29

rather depends on where you are/how people are getting home
I'd leave it - if people are having a good time and want to continue, I'm sure that someone can find a bar/get additional drinks wherever you are at that point of the evening.
I'm sure you manage a normal night out without every round of drinks being planned,

I've just been to the Mamma Mia Party Experience at the 02 for a hen do.....and the ticket was £200. It was fab though, thoroughly enjoyed it. We were down for the whole weekend though so had other things happened planned the next few days so just went back to the Air BnB after it finihed with drinks and snacks

We’re meeting at 2pm for bottomless brunch and it will be a be a very boozy day.

Bride hates clubbing

Absolutely too early to end - book cocktails after (the tube will be packed so it makes sense to book something next to O2)

Most people are in London. The few people
who are not are bunking with friends who live in the city

I would say a lot of people would expect to go on for drinks after, maybe book a table at a nice bar or club? It could be flexible though, people who would rather go straight home could do that

HappyFitnessQueen · 11/04/2025 14:09

Oh no, that's definitely enough if you're starting with brunch! Have an amazing time!
