Hair disaster - help!!

So I've just had a mobile hairdresser come round and do some highlights for me. Basically I've got medium brown/auburn hair and usually box dye it, but wanted to get away from that and add some highlights so I could gradually grow the colour out as I've stared to grey.

Mobile hairdresser put a load of foils in but as I couldn't see what she was doing, she's literally done so many foils that I've now gone from a brown/Auburn shade to totally brassy blonde all over. I'm mortified, as now I'll have dark roots and also blonde just doesn't suit me. It looks awful and I'm upset as I never pay for stuff like this so it was meant to be a real treat for myself at the end of maternity leave.

We go on holiday on Saturday night, am I hugely unrealistic to think I can somehow dye over it before we go away??? I hate it, I'm so upset!

Oh no 😢
I wouldn't risk putting anything on it yourself, so soon after she has put colour on - you may end up worse off.

Did you tell her you were unhappy with it? If not, would you be able to contact her and tell her? She may be able to sort it?

If you don't want her to fix it, still let her know and if possible, find a salon locally that can help?

I also suggest that you call into a local salon for advice or to see if they can do anything for you.

I get highlights every 6 months or so and they always look a bit horrendous for the first week or so... just me?

You could find a hairdresser to put a toner on it? Def don't do it yourself!

Purple shampoo and conditioner might help.

Mobile hairdressers aren't the best it's always best to stick to a salon they seems to always be dated and not the best but I do think if you could get a last minute appointment at a salon they could make it more brown

Yes OP get to a salon ASAP don’t ruin your holiday feeling bad about your hair. They will correct it and use a treatment you won’t regret it. Can you post a pic
