Is there anything more annoying than the sound of someone using the toilet you’ve just cleaned?? Especially when there is another one you haven’t started yet….🤔

Yes.
Said person missing the toilet and also getting water all over the floor when he washes his hands…

Octavia64 · 10/04/2025 14:03

Yes.

the cat vomiting on a floor you have just mopped

steff13 · 10/04/2025 14:04

Someone bringing a bunch of dirty dishes to the kitchen right after you started the dishwasher.

TheFunSponge · 10/04/2025 14:10

Yes, the dog vomiting on your clean duvet cover!

unicornsarereal72 · 10/04/2025 14:21

Yes the dog pooing on the table. I have no idea how it happened but tablecloth was disposed of.

There's a reason I don't have pets.

If I was smart enough to not have children and have stayed single I wouldn't have any of these problems.

As it is, I clean the house, spend 1-2 minutes enjoying it's sparkling glory and then someone comes along and mucks it up. (Yes, I do make them tidy up, but it's not quite the same standard)

@ElizaCBennett Try having cleaned all 3 toilets in your house and your children/husband all using a different one.

Agony.

Frenchfemme · 10/04/2025 14:28

The cat going to use the litter tray I’ve just cleaned, while I’m still pouring the clean litter in.

Eggsboxedandmelting · 10/04/2025 14:30

Having an afternoon off and thinking you live in an episode of Hound Of The Baskervilles..
Why does sun make dogs bloody bark more??

Starlight1984 · 10/04/2025 14:30

Yes - when I change the bedding on a Saturday, it's all clean and tidy and then DH goes and lies on it fully clothed in the middle of the day😂

I have explained to him multiple times that you have to put on clean pyjamas and it be night-time before you can climb into fresh bedding 😍

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 10/04/2025 14:35

Someone pushing past you in the street and then going slow in front of you

People who think their supermarket shop is more important than yours and push in front of you when it is clear you’re selecting items

WonderingWanda · 10/04/2025 14:36

That's pretty annoying!

Can I also add to the list people who find the bin is full and continue to wedge stuff into it so the bag splits rather than empty it. People who fill an empty laundry bin the moment you've got to the bottom of it. People who put empty packets back into the fridge or cupboard. People who try on 20 outfits and then leave them on the floorm People pick up clean washing (20 outfits off the floor and put it in their laundry basket rather than fold it and put it away. People who can't put their shoes/ coat/ bag/ away but will moan they can't find anything amongst the mess.

Most of this is directed at my kids....and sometimes dh (person who leaves his wet towel on my side of the bed..grrr).
