To even consider going swimming tomorrow when...

I possibly have flu. Been feeling very achy for a couple of days now. Sore throat, swollen glands, runny nose etc etc. Had to walk into town earlier and struggled to get back. felt really ill when I got in.

Thing is, it's swimming lessons i'm taking. I'm 27 and have always been petrified of the water. This will be the 5th lesson on a 6 week course. I had to miss the 1st lesson due to dd3 having chicken pox and the 4th lesson due to dd2 thowing up all the previous night. The course is fantastic and on the weeks I have managed to go I have come on really well. They will most likely offer this course again and I will get a chance to re-do it. But I applied to join this course several months before it got running. So don't know when exactly the next course will be offered.

And I dont want the work I have been doing to go to waste. What should I do/

Yes, was thinking that as I have been getting worse over the course of the day I may not be able to drag myself outta the bed in the morning. So may not be a choice in the end. Just wandering if I should push myself into doing it if I feel ok (ish), knowing I might well feel truely awful after.

Swimming pools are a toxic soup at the best of times! If you've made great progress in just two lessons so far I wouldn't worry about missing one. I personally wouldn't go - I always seem to end up with earache and a sore throat if I go swimming when feeling ill anyway - but its your choice obviously!
PS I'm going swimming tomorrow - can you let me know where you're going so I don't get your lurgy?!

I usually find if I do exercise I feel better afterwards, even if I'm under the weather, so I'd go, if you feel you can.
