Smeary bloody windows!

Do any Mumsnetters have some kind of trick or hack that I've missed (after 50 odd adult years on this planet) to get my windows clean? I thought I had cleaned them adequately last week. The sun is out and they look as though a three year old has been doing it. Totally smeared. I have a Karcher. Do I need to do both sides of each pane? Finish with a chamois? Posting here for traffic.. please help!

Not sure what your budget or what size of windows you have but I recommend a Karcher Window Cleaner, they make various sizes at corresponding prices but they really do a professional job.

Mr Muscle window cleaner, everything else seems to smear for me.
A minky cloth to clean, then a dry minky cloth to buff. I use the Costco big yellow ones.

I thought you had blood on the windows! 🫨 I was wondering what goes on in your house...
Inside I use warm water with a bit of washing up liquid and a microfibre cloth then the Karcher window vac with the Karcher cleaner. Outside is done by the window cleaner but he's traditional and uses distilled water and s cloth and hates washing up liquid!

Thank you all so much 😁

Vinegar added to the soapy water. And Newspapers to dry off the windows. You’ll have the shiniest windows in the country. Guaranteed!

Vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Two microfibre cloths, one for wet and one for polishing.

Only discovered this last weekend and it’s like my glasses are clean and I can see again!
