Hi all

really need sensible advice/assurance

for a long time I have had dark itchy patches on my vagina I always thought it was thrush
it is dark very dry and wrinkled around one of my labia. On the same section there is now what looks like a small
open sore
at the top of my thighs it is very dark and lots of white spots
I am terrified it's vulva or skin cancer. Iv buried my head in the sand for a while here probably about a good few years it has been itchy dry but iv just thought it was thrush as I'm obese
I finally took my head out the sand and booked a doctors appointment today but I'm terrified to face it!
anyone had this?

I'm sorry you are going through this. It may well just be a skin irritation. Have you been using a thrush cream on it? Have you lost weight? Do you have a friend/family member/partner to go with you for support?

Is it not more likely to be Lichen sclerosus?
