Is it safe to put away our big coats?

Now the weathers a bit warmer I’m considering washing and putting away our big coats. Is it too early? Am I tempting fate? As soon as I do will the weather turn Baltic?

I have. I've kept jumpers and lighter jackets out but I'm layering now instead of just chucking on the big coat. I'm sick of the sight of it!

Are you of the North? If so you'll probably be fine. Of the south? I'd be wary of a little windchill giving you hypothermia 🤣🤣🤣🤣

No! I was out last night with a woolen wrap and immediately regretted not wearing my big coat. It was freezing. We have had a week of beautiful sunshine but the temperatures are still low.

Absolutely not! I’m in the SE, we’ve had some glorious spells of sunshine for the past couple of weeks for sure but Jesus Christ the wind has been bitter.
went out for dinner and drinks last night and needed the sweatshirt AND my big winter coat for walking back to the car.
Mind you all our coats, summer and winter are hung up in the utility room, we don’t put them anywhere else so no need to plan
ahead.

I’ve put away my winter long wool coats. I’ve kept out a Mac and also shorter blazer type jackets and my Barbour. I’m in but south, it’s a bit windy but not to winter coat level.

No. Always have them ready.

Ours just hang on a coat and hat stand year round so they are handy if needed. When not needed we just leave them there and ignore them.
