To worry about syringes and dog poo

I live in a city where there have been used syringes found in two local playparks. There's often dog poo around the parks in the grassy areas. My child is crawling and pulling herself up but not walking yet. I worry about letting her crawl around in public spaces because of dangers like syringes and dog poo, but I'm happy for her to crawl around in private gardens. Should I stop worrying?

Syringes and dog poo are definitely something to worry about so YANBU at all!

I would get her some soft sole roamer shoes in clarks so her feet are protected from syringes/poo but won’t hinder her walking development. They’re quite good at showing which ones are machine washable and telling you how to clean them too.
