Hi I took a pregnancy test this morning and I want to know does it look like an evaporation line

Nobody here can tell you that.

Try a pink dye when your period is due. The clear blue are crap

It looks like a funny thin line. But I think these tests are rubbish. I would do a First Response or any of the pink dye tests. I used to quite like the Superdrug ones.

That line looks dodgy to me so I’d take it as an invalid result
try when you’re period is due with a first response or easy at home

Did you take that picture this morning or tonight? Tests need to be discarded after this time window has ended, it's pointless looking at a test that's hours old.

Period is 2 days late. Is this an evaporation line? Got darker after 10 mins. I took the test in the afternoon, drank lots of water today. This happened the last time I was pregnant too. Very faint line.

Both negative.

I had a line that faint and I was pregnant, but I was very early taking the test.

It looks a bit wonky to be an actual line, and if your period is two days late you might expect a stronger line than that.

I had what I thought was an evaporation line on a blue dye test 3 days before my period was due, then tested again on the day I was due on with a pink dye test and a digital one, and they were clear as day.

I would honestly just try to get a different kind of test. I got a Clearblue digital "ultra early" one which was really idiot proof, there is a flashing light that tells you when the test has absorbed enough urine to work, then it displays a kind of "loading" graphic for a few minutes and then comes up with either the words "pregnant" or "not pregnant". Not cheap though, but worth the certainty if you are really freaking out like I was.

Looks like a faint positive test to me! It should get darker and clearer each day. Do it first thing when you wake up next time. Best wishes to you x

It was negative. Evaporation line. The pink dye and digital tests were clear. Period came. 5 days late
