My husband told the bride her dress was beautiful, but when i showed him my dress idea, which was very similar, he said he didn't like it. He claims he doesn’t recall her dress being similar. Does it appear he finds the bride attractive not the dress?

Not necessarily. A picture of a dress can look completely different to seeing a dress being worn, especially when the person wearing it is all done up - hair, make up, flowers, veil etc. It may be he was just being polite to the bride. Possibly he can't even recall what the bride was wearing. If he had designs on the bride surely he'd have told her that she looked beautiful rather than the dress?

It would make more sense if it was your fiance, but since you are calling him DH one presumes you are already married. In which case why are you showing him wedding dresses. What was his relationship to the bride he complimented? Is there any romantic history between them? I would say that men don't usually get enthused about wedding dresses. Why don't you tell us the full story!

I'm confused about the timeline? If he's your husband then presumably you're not sharing dress ideas for your upcoming wedding as you are already married! Did this happen a while ago and you're overthinking it? Dresses can look wildly different on different body types so maybe a dress that looked nice on her may not suit you in the same way 🤷‍♀️
