To wish I was at work tomorrow?

Calm, orderly, I know what I’m doing, there’s a start time and an end time. And I get paid.
Why did I decide to go part time? Kids are so much work at the moment it’s ten times harder than work.

My DC are adults now, but when they were younger myself and two colleagues who also had children all said we came to work for a rest. Not that work was easy, but it was much easier than being at home with the children.

I can remember returning to work and loving lunch breaks

I remember coming back after maternity leave after DC2 and my lovely colleague had a freshly brewed cappuccino ready for me on my desk . It was absolute bliss
