Psychological assessment

Long story short my children are in foster care. I have under taken a psychological assessment yesterday as order by a court. I'm just wondering if anyone else has one before?

I went in there fully expecting him to be harsh and push me to be honest but I left feeling absolutely attacked.

He was so rude, used really poor terminology and honestly made me feel so uncomfortable. I am not the most outspoken person but I had to ask him more than one to stop speaking to me like crap. It was like he had already made his mind up on me based on the papers he had read and didn't matter what I said, he was just mocking me and telling me I'm a liar when I tried to answer his questions.

I'm not sure if this is how most of them go, like do they talk to people like this to get them to snap or push them this hard for a reaction? Or I can't decide if he was totally unreasonable and didn't conduct himself well.

My DC were in foster care for 8 months and I had to see a court appointed Psychologist. I was dreading it and it was harrowing. However, my part in the dynamic was that I was SO anxious, I probably came across as irritable and defensive. Her part - which was her job - was to get as much information out of me in the 4 hours we had as possible.
It was pretty fucking brutal and it dredged up 'repressed' (if that's the correct term) memories of childhood SA, but it was her job to get as much background info out of me as poss.
