Hit a pheasant with my car today (not on purpose) and it has done damage which I resent paying to put right.
I am ordering pheasant roast, casserole, and pie this week to get my own back on his family and friends.

I am not plucking, gutting, and eating the one I hit. I am not a monster. Just cross.

🤣🤣🤣

Moonflower12 · 30/03/2025 20:44

Argh legally it's the car behind you has the right to pick up the pheasant you hit, not you.
So now he's made you a criminal as well as damaged your car...

Getting your own back on whose family and friends...........?

TeapotTitties · 30/03/2025 20:45

Shame you didn't run over a Pot Noodle.

soupyspoon · 30/03/2025 20:45

They're like suicidal attack dogs those things

We have been ambushed before by herds of them.

sorechalfonts · 30/03/2025 20:46

Idiot

I hear that its possible to buy multi packs of senses of humour on Amazon these days

I think lots of posters need to order some.

sorechalfonts · 30/03/2025 20:48

It’s not in the slightest bit amusing though, the same as ‘buying sense of humour packs from Amazon’ embarrassingly lame AF

Good - hope it’s expensive. Learn to pay attention to the road and keep your speed down it could be a child or a pet next time

They make shit casseroles though.

My Mum moved very rurally when I was in my 20's.
She hit a pheasant one day and as she was panicking and it flapped about in her grill a local farmer stoped
"what shall I dooooo??????" wailed my Mum
Farmer pulled it out, wrang its neck, handed it to her and gave her detailed instructions on hanging and cooking it.
She very politely told him he could have it

soupyspoon · 30/03/2025 20:58

Yes we had a pigeon in our front grill once for a few days as we couldnt face pulling it out. Awful

offmynut · 30/03/2025 21:08

Op i would have had that in the oven by now.
When i was younger and we saw fresh road kill we would take it home.
Best find was a deer.
If anything got hit instead of leaving it flapping reverse over it put in the boot.

In fairness to op, the only time over ever hit an animal was a pheasant - 60mph road, saw and missed it when it ran out in front of me... The bloody thing then turned around and ran under my car and got killed by the back wheels... Idiot bird
