Meta AI on my WhatsApp

AIBU to want to delete Meta AI off my WhatsApp front page? I don’t want it there, I don’t need to ask AI any fucking thing when I’m messaging my friends. Have searched the internet for ways to get rid and apparently you can’t get rid of it. Are there alternative messaging apps I can move to or will I be a Billy no mates?

Yeah I have the same issue. I thought I would use it to see if it could find a long buried answer my DH had sent me. It sent me the biography of a footballer with the same first name as DH. Really helpful

I hate the ring thing so much! I’m a lecturer and we have real issues with students using AI - my work friend and I call it “The Robot” (as in “I think The Robot wrote most of Harry’s assessment”). She messaged me yesterday with a screenshot saying “The Robot is in our chat!”. It just appeared on Tuesday morning for me.

Tbh I think if I could move/ remove the ring thing I would be able to cope with it hanging around like a perve in my inbox, but that blue circle is bothering me an unreasonable amount.

My phone was 100%, put it in my work bag and left it there and it’s 28% when I’ve got it out now… is this AI..?! As that’s the only thing which has changed from yesterday to today and my phone is usually fine. Fuming! Maybe I have to swipe up WhatsApp every time I close my phone?
