My Mum passed away 4 years under very sad circumstances…I decided to stay with my Dad that week whilst we organised funeral etc.

One day I noticed there was a cat in the garden, had made it self very comfortable in a flower pot. When I went back into the kitchen a few hours later the cat was still there and another had joined. An hour later there was 4 cats sitting in the same spot

I am terrified of Cat’s…I suspected maybe one of the cats had given birth. I forced my husband to go into the garden and see what’s happening. To his surprise there was a 5th cat trapped under a ladder near the garage.

Could this have been a sign? Mum didn’t get to say goodbye

my mum didn’t care for cats either

only mention this because I had forgotten about and had a flash back almost exactly to the day 4 years later

I don't understand the connection between the cats and your mum. Are you saying this was your mum saying goodbye? It would be a very odd way for her to do it. This doesn't make sense to me, sorry.

No of course the cats were not carrying a message from the other side
