Has anyone else’s DC been prescribed these before?
He was crying with ear pain yesterday, said it felt like stabbing pains. Took to pharmacy first after GP recommended them over the phone.
Pharmacist had a look inside his ear, said it looked red and inflamed but as no pus or discharge he wouldn’t prescribe antibiotics just yet.
It’s 4 drops, 3 times a day.
He was fine all day, then it seemed to come on again at about 5pm and he was crying with it and holding his ear. After drops and ibuprofen he was totally fine and didn’t even wake up in the night with it.
He’s snotty and has a cough too.
Any idea how quickly these drops should work? Hopefully it’s a good sign that he’s been fine this morning and I’ve sent him into school, told teachers to let me know if he needs to come home early.
