To drop present off after birthday

It’s my sister’s birthday mid this week but they are going away tomorrow until Friday. I have asked her if she would like me to bring it round this afternoon or meet her on Friday with it. She replied to not put myself out and said they were not taking any presents with them and just opening them on Friday as it would take up space in the car. AIBU to drop present the day after? Should I make sure she has it before?

Go round next weekend surely? She's told you she won't be opening any until next Friday anyway so seems silly to go and drop it round today.

When you say "the day after" what do you mean?

I'm sure it's fine either way based on what's she's said

Drop it in the day after when? The day after her birthday? The day after Friday?

But, whatever, you suggested Friday and she implied it was good for her.

I assume she's an adult i doubt she cares drop it off whenever you're putting to much brain power into this
